Blackboard Course Request Information
A valid DMC e-mail address is required to create your Blackboard username and course. If you do not have a DMC e-mail address, please contact the DMC Helpdesk by calling 361-698-2330 or e-mail helpdesk@delmar.edu.
IMPORTANT: You must have either successfully completed the Blackboard workshop series or have documentable training and experience in the Blackboard course management system. If in doubt, contact E-Learning Services at 361-698-1312 or email distlearn@delmar.edu.
Please send your course request, please contact the DMC Helpdesk by calling 361-698-2330 or e-mail helpdesk@delmar.edu. And provide the following information:
- Your email address
- Course ID, section number, and course title
- Let us know if you are using previous course shell, new publisher content, or blank shell to create new content.
- Let us know this the course you are teaching your course totally online, blended, or in a hybrid environment. Please see delivery methods information below:
There are three primary delivery methods that can be used with online delivery:
- Hybrid: courses that meet fewer times in a classroom setting and use distance learning to a greater degree than augmented courses;
- Totally online: courses that do all coursework online and have no classroom-based meetings.
- Blended: A class that is conducted both by face-to-face classroom meetings and distance learning activities.
