Graduates will be able to sit for the national certification examination for pharmacy technician administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Texas require licensure in order to practice in a pharmacy which can be obtained through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) website.
