Internships
Through Cooperative Agreements and Internships, employers hire students
in their last semester before graduation in paid or unpaid positions.
These programs give employers opportunity to evaluate the student's
work skills and ability to function in the workplace. The employer can
provide valuable feedback to address areas needing improvement and help
prepare students for the workplace.

All job listings are posted in the student centers at both East and West campus as well as on the CP&P web site.

Job Readiness
Employer input directs the content of various workshops held for students to help prepare them to go into the workforce. Focus will be on qualities employers look for in employees and strategies to help them keep the job.

Job Referral Services/DMC Student Job Bank
The CP&P staff match the qualifications of current students, recent graduates and alumni with employers job listings. Students are referred for full-time, part-time, temporary, and internship positions.
Del Mar College Career Planning and Placement Office offers an online job board - DMC Student job bank. All jobs listed with the office are posted on the web for Del Mar students to view.
Job listings may be faxed to the office using the Job Listing Request Form. If you prefer to list the job yourself you may do so by clicking DMC Student Bank for Employers button on the home page. Follow registration instructions by completing company profile and contact information. The web based system allows you to create your own user name and password. Once the company profile and contact information has been approved you are then able to complete your job listing by clicking on "My Job" button .
