Gamma Sigma is a five-star chapter of Phi Theta Kappa located at Del Mar College, in Corpus Christi, Texas. This semester begins an exciting new adventure for all of us, with a new group of officers, numerous fresh ideas, and many new programs and activities being offered to members, initiates, Del Mar students and faculty, and members of the community.

Phi Theta Kappa is an International Honors Society which gives prestigious recognition to community college students with excellent scholarship and character. A Phi Theta Kappa Membership enables you to graduate with honors, apply for over $29,000,000 (Yep, you read right - that's twentynine million!) in scholarships, and be a part of the ever-increasing number of members from all parts of the world.

You can also participate in the development of skills in service and leadership, and the promotion of scholarship and fellowship. This is achieved through activities geared toward each of these four Hallmarks. Activities are a chance to have fun and fellowship with other members, contribute something meaningful to your community, and develop bonds that last a lifetime.
