ARMY ROTC FOUR-YEAR PROGRAM
The Army ROTC Four-year Program consists of two parts:
The Basic Course and the Advanced Course.
The Basic Course is usually taken in the freshman and sophomore years and requires no military commitment (except for scholarship students). You get to see whether the discipline and challenges of being an Army officer appeals to you. And we get to see whether you have the physical, academic and attitudinal qualities that add up to officer potential.
The Advance Course is a mutual commitment. You show your commitment by signing a contract which certifies that you Understand your service obligation. We show our commitment by paying you up to $1,500 a year during the last two years of the program. Plus, you receive additional pay for attending the Advance Leadership Course. This is a six-week summer course, which you take between your junior and senior years.
