Review of Credentialing Discrepancies: Chair Jim Pierce brought to the meeting the approximately forty-five files (full-time faculty) that had been identified by the Principal Committee on Faculty as having credentialing discrepancies. He spent twenty minutes discussing with the Steering Committee the seven categories of credentials outlined in the SACS Criteria, and then worked through several files, analyzing the nature of each discrepancy. The Steering Committee then worked in small groups to examine the discrepant files. Six of the files were found to have discrepancies, five of which involved the lack of an official transcript.

Next Meetings: The Steering Committee will meet on Wednesday, July 28, at 2:00 p.m. in the Registrar's Office.

The Steering Committee will meet also on Thursday, July 29, at 1:30 p.m. in VB-170.
