Discussion: John M. Crisp reported that the password system had been re-established in order to provide access to the self-study webpages from off-campus. The username and password can be obtained from any Steering Committee member.

A Steering Committee member inquired about the progress of the Educational Support Services and Faculty subcommittees. Crisp said that he had talked with Juan Flores, who has recently joined this committee. Flores said that he was to receive a copy of the current draft shortly and would report on its condition. The status of the Faculty report is unknown.

The Educational Program subcommittee continues to meet with the principal committee chair and has worked through "must" statment #23.

Institutional Effectiveness Subcommittee Report: The Institutional Effectiveness Subcommittee (John M. Crisp, Noe Guerra, Mattie Marcum) submitted for discussion their report on their review of the Institutional Effectiveness draft. The report will be completed and submitted to the Institutional Effectiveness principal committee with three working days.

Next Meeting: The next meeting of the Steering Committee will be held in VB-170 on Thursday, March 4, 1999 at 3:00 p.m.
