The Ultimate Sportswear was founded by Javier and Celi Garcia to meet the gear and uniform needs of martial arts enthusiasts and professionals. As a young teen Javier Garcia's love for martial arts helped him develop the discipline and skills that would someday make him one of the finest Judo Instructors in the Coastal Bend. His accomplishments in Judo, Karate & Tae Kwando include all belt levels as well as numerous awards and recognition for mastering martial arts.
Javier spent numerous years as a Judo Instructor in Corpus Christi. He was very dedicated to helping the youth in the city. His mission: to offer a martial arts program that would make his childhood experience in martial arts possible for all the youth, and especially |

| Javier contacted the Del Mar College Small Business Development Center for start-up and loan assistance. Elizabeth Soliz provided business planning and loan assistance for an Innovative Bank SOHO loan. The loan was approved and The Ultimate Sportswear was started. The Web-based company offers top quality uniforms and gear in all sizes for Judo, Taekwondo, Karate, Kung Fu, Kick Boxing, Hapkido, and Boxing.
