Looking for some help?

Well, you've come to the right place! Here are some places that you can find the help you need to succeed in your classes.

SEMMO

If you are taking any kind of math, science, or technology course, chances are that someone else in SEMMO has already taken it, or is taking it right now. Just strike up a conversation with someone at a meeting, and they might know who to hook you up with. If you are not much of a conversationalist, just ask one of the officers or Ms. Parr, and they can help you find someone.

Peer Tutoring Program

Del Mar College's Peer-Tutoring Program is available to provide up to 4 hours a week of one-on-one academic assistance at no charge for students enrolled at Del Mar College. All of the tutors in this program are current students at Del Mar, and have earned an 'A' or 'B' in the course they are tutoring. Appointments can be scheduled for any time that the school is open - as long as you and your tutor can make it at that time. Tutor availability for certain courses is sometimes limited; it depends on which students are tutoring in a certain semester. Also, there are not a lot of tutors available, so make sure to sign up within the first month of the semester in order to have the best chance of getting a tutor.
