bulletTuesday, September 1.  I've posted the first online discussion topic on MyDMC.  See the discussion directions for help finding the Message Boards.

bulletMonday, August 31.  Last re-cap of all of the handouts I've given out so far.  You should have the course syllabus, the schedule of the Library Film Series, the Online Discussion Directions, and the Assignment for the Film Review Paper.  If you are missing anything, you can download it here or ask me for a copy, and please ask me if you have any questions about anything.

The first History-in-Film movie (10-points extra credit) is showing this Friday at 2 p.m. in Room 530 of the White Library.  It's Black Robe, about French missionaries working to convert the Huron Indians in Canada in the 17th century.  See the Syllabus for extra-credit directions.

I'll start posting on-line discussion topics sometime this week, but in the meantime the most important thing for you to do is to get started on your film review paper.

bulletTuesday, August 25 -- Our first class was today.  If you missed it, be sure to get (and read) a copy of the course syllabus.  I also handed out a schedule of the Library Film Series, which you can attend for extra credit.

Handouts coming Thursday: Online Discussion Directions and the Assignment for the Film Review Paper.

bulletMonday, August 17 -- Class starts a week from tomorrow.  In the meantime, you can get a copy of the course syllabus here.  See you next week!
