The top of the Lecture Notes Page contains hyper
links to the Syllabus, Test Information, Reaction Paper Guidelines, and the Final.
The rest of the Lecture Notes Page is devoted to
class notes and textbook reading assignments.
As the student scrolls down, he or
she will encounter five blocks labeled Part 1, Part 2, Part 3,etc. These blocks
correspond to test blocks. The material in Part 1 includes two sets of class notes and
relevant page numbers from the textbook. The first test comes from this material.
Lecture Notes
The notes are a critical
part of the class. Nearly everything you do in the course revolves around my lecture
notes. The textbook is easily a secondary resource for this class. The student can answer
many of the study questions using the notes. Some study questions explore material from
the text book. These questions are flagged "Text Question."
Warning:
As students read the lectures notes, be aware that there are occasional links to other
pages, which are embedded within the notes. Generally, these links lead to charts or data
presentations. Occasionally, they lead to more text.
