| Communication occurs within the Web-CT environment as much as possible. This means that students send course-related e-mail within Web-CT. If the student submits papers and projects, he or she will attach them to an e-mail message within Web-CT as well. Where is Web-CT E-Mail? Once the student enters the course in Web-CT, he or she should find a link to an e-mail option. In order to e-mail me, click on the e-mail button. A new window will open up for e-mailing. Click on "Compose Mail Message." Next to the field called "Send to" click "Browse." An address book appears with all the e-mail addresses of all the people in the course -- including me. My name will be at the top of the page. Be aware that you cannot e-mail me from outside of Web-CT to my address that is located inside Web-CT. Please send me a message once you gain access to course. I will use that message as an initial roll call. PLEASE: Students should thoroughly identify themselves when communicating with me. I may "know" you in one environment (e.g., my office), but not recognize you in another (e.g., cyber-space). Include your name and the class you are registered for on all messages sent to the professor. This is especially important when e-mailing to my home or office address. It is equally important to carefully identify yourself early in the semester. PLEASE: When replying to messages I send you, use the "Quote" option. This will include my message below the message you send me.
