The South Texas Aviation Project (STAP) was created to meet the growing and dynamic career field within aviation maintenance technology. STAP is designed to create a balanced ratio between the broad gap between employment opportunities and skilled entry level technicians.
By increasing the capacity for training aviation maintenance, avionics, and nondestructive technicians the STAP project will increase the knowledge, skills, and commitment of the individuals seeking a diverse and lifelong dream of employment.
