Scholarship Program

Majors: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer-Network Electronic Technology, All Computer Information Systems Majors, Geology, Physics Geographic Information Systems, Mathematics, All future secondary mathematics and science teachers All pre-engineering: aerospace, civil, Chemical, Electrical Engineering environmental, and mechanical.

National Science Foundation Scholarship Grant awarded to Del Mar College Provides up to 30 Need-Based Scholarships from $1250 up to $2500 per semester as determined by unmet financial need. Application deadline Fall semester: Last Friday in September Spring semester is the last Friday of the January.

Students will be assigned a faculty mentor in their declared major.
Scholarship recipients will be asked to visit with the Project director on a monthly basis.
Students will be encouraged to register in targeted courses that will provide supplemental instruction to enhance the academic success of the student.
Students will be invited to participate in student success workshops.
Students will be invited to participate in activities that promote academic success.
