Intramural Sports-You can polish a sports skill or just stay physically fit through intramural sports ranging from soccer, volleyball, tennis and swimming to racquetball, bowling, golf and weight training. Call (361) 698-1373.
Cultural Programs-Del Mar has always been a strong cultural influence in the community. The College presents some 100 musical concerts, dramatic presentations, art exhibits, dance programs, lectures, and workshops throughout the year. Many are free and open to the public. Call (361) 698-1600.

Del Mar College includes two campuses and an annex in Corpus Christi, the heart of the Texas Gulf Coast. As a commuter college, both main campuses and the Center for Economic Development at the Del Mar College Annex are easily accessible to students in the Coastal Bend area.

MANY MAJORS AVAILABLE
You can choose from more than 50 Associate in Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching, and Associate in Science degrees that transfer to accredited universities or select Associate in Applied Science degrees or certificates in more than 80 occupational fields to prepare for the working world.
AFFORDABLE COST
Tuition and fees are among the lowest in South Texas. Fall 2005 tuition is based on $27 per semester hour for students that live in the Del Mar College District. Del Mar students traditionally pay less than 1/4 the cost of the same semester credit hour load if taken at area universities.
TRANSFER SUCCESS
Three out of four Del Mar graduates planning to transfer to a university do so within one year of College graduation. Four-year institutions in the state report that Del Mar transfer students do as well academically, or better than, students who started at those institutions as freshmen.
OCCUPATIONAL SUCCESS
The average passing rate for Del Mar graduates is just over 94% in occupational programs that require licensing for employment, such as Registered Nurse Education, Cosmetology, and Real Estate.
