Professional and Organizational Development (POD) Grant Proposal Instructions for Non-Faculty
The purpose of Del Mar College's POD grants is
to support projects that are designed to improve, advance, and enrich
student learning. These include the cost of consultants or specialists
for group professional development. It also includes the cost of individual
registration/workshop fees as well as supplemental materials for special
projects for professional growth, those of which will strictly enhance
student learning. Equipment or materials purchased with award funds
will revert to the College upon completion of the project. Del Mar College
has allocated sixteen thousand dollars in support of Professional and Organizational Development (POD) grants for the academic year.
The Professional Development and Grants committee reviews
proposals and recommends allocations based on the merits of the proposed project
and available funds.
