Del Mar College Transportation Training Services

STUDENT CHECKLIST
The following items must be on file with Del Mar College BEFORE you can begin class:

1. Copy of high school diploma or GED Certificate or TABE test
2. D.O.T. Physical & Drug Screen*
3. Copy of DD214 (if applicable)
   

*DOT PHYSICAL & DRUG SCREEN CAN BE OBTAINED BY YOUR PERSONAL PHYSICIAN OR CAN BE SCHEDULED BY DEL MAR COLLEGE.

These expenses may not be included in tuition:

• CDL PERMIT FEE $10.00
• DOT PHYSICAL & DRUG SCREENING* $75.00
• CDL LICENSE - NOT TO EXCEED $60.00

* Student pays for drug screen & physical up front. The cost will be deducted from tuition. (Once student passes requirements)

The following items are necessary for classroom, yard, and road instruction:

Appropriate footwear:	hard sole shoes or boots (sandals are not acceptable)
Appropriate Outerwear:	Be prepared for inclement weather! We train in all weather elements.
Supplies:	notebook, pen, highlighter, calculator, and ruler
Optional:	work gloves, sun screen, sunglasses, hat
