DEMAND FOR PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVERS

According to the A.T.A. (American Trucking Associations) there are 3.2 million tractor-trailer drivers in the U.S.* Over 75% of all U.S. communities depend solely on trucking for deliver of goods and commodities.** There is a major professional truck driver shortage of 80 to 100 thousand drivers per year and growing. By the year 2008 the U.S. freight transportation industry is expected to carry 14.4 billion tons of freight, generating $716.6 billion in revenue. The trucking industry is expected to account for $ 624.9 billion of all freight revenues.**
