Program Overview
Culinary Arts
Culinary Arts at Del Mar College is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare the student to enter an exciting career in the fast-paced workplaces of the food industry. The program includes off-campus experience as well as on-campus course work leading to the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Culinary Arts (Chef Training) or Baking/Pastry Specialization. Certificate programs are also offered.
Hospitality Management
The Hospitality Program is designed to prepare students to enter into the hospitality industry. The program provides a quality education that incorporates theory and practice through one certificate program and one Associate in Applied Science degree. The Hospitality Management Certificate prepares students to work in the lodging industry. The Associate in Applied Science in Hospitality Management provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to become leaders in the industry.
