Meet Christina Hernandez, Class of '01

I started at Del Mar with fear and uncertainty, not sure if I could handle everything. I was a teen mom without childcare. At Del Mar I was encouraged, helped, and believed in even when I didn’t believe in myself. Del Mar even provided childcare for my daughter, and now because of that help, I’m her role model!

I am so grateful for the time I spent at Del Mar. It built the strong foundation for my continued success. I went from being a teen mom to earning my Master’s Degree and being a community leader. How? Teachers and DMC.
