About Us and Our Services

In counseling, we work together to help students develop more personal awareness and the skills needed to overcome barriers to success. We also help students grow and develop in ways that allow them to take advantage of the educational opportunities at the college. We are also available to provide consultation to faculty and staff who are concerned about the well-being and academic success of Del Mar College students. All services are free and confidential.

The Counseling Center staff are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students that is respectful and affirming of all identities and characteristics including race, ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, ancestry, physical ability, mental ability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, marital status, parental status, genetic information, health and socioeconomic status.
