Due to the nature of the virtual music camp experience, we are offering a wide variety of activities that will benefit students of all age levels from 7th grade to adult.

The DMC Summer Camp is offering beginner/intermediate/advanced instrumental music instruction with some of our profession's finest music educators and performers. In addition, we are also offering some amazing percussion clinics hosted by world renown percussionists Lalo Davila and Julie Davila. These experiences will include classes ranging from percussion techniques to marching drumline.

Students will also have the opportunity of a lifetime to learn from world renown composer and conductor, Justin Freer, who will offer insights on numerous topics regarding real-world career opportunities in the music industry.

Lastly, this year’s camp will also feature Mr. James Miculka, Fine Arts Director for the Northside ISD in San Antonio, Texas. This part of the camp was created for all professional music educators who can engage in productive discussions about the effect that the global pandemic has had on our instrumental music programs. Mr. Miculka will present ideas on how we can rebuild the culture in our music programs. He will also share insights on the future of the Fine Arts.

We appreciate your interest and hope that you will join us for the 2021 Virtual Summer Music Camp.
