Mackenzie Scott came to DMC at age 18 and found her career path in the Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Program. A 2024 graduate, she is now an emergency room paramedic at Driscoll Children’s Hospital and a part-time paramedic with the City of Port Aransas, and she continues to set big goals for herself.
Sam Marin, '24
Sam Marin graduated from Del Mar College’s Welding Applied Technology program in 2024. Despite being a little unsure of herself, she thrived in the program and is now a professional welder.
Michelle Hinojosa '06
Michelle Hinojosa is the first in her family to graduate from college, earning an associate's degree from Del Mar College and a bachelor's degree from the University of the Incarnate Word through its partnership with DMC.
Eric Stern '12
Eric Stern is a 2012 graduate of Del Mar College. He turned his passion for auto repair into a career as a diagnostic technician and shop foreman. Eric credits his DMC instructors with nurturing his interest and setting him on the path to success.
Monica Ellison '94
Monica Ellison is a 1994 graduate of Del Mar College. A journalism major, she fondly remembers serving as editor of the student newspaper, Foghorn News. Monica is now the proud owner of 20/20 Vintage, a vintage boutique in downtown Corpus Christi.
