Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) National Honor Society - Paralegal Studies
Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) is the national honor society founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAfPE). Currently, there are over 170 chapters throughout the United States and thousands of inductees who have been honored for their exceptional academic achievements.
Each year, the college selects paralegal students who meet high academic criteria and recognize them for their accomplishments by inducting them into Lambda Epsilon Chi. They are honored through a formal ceremony and the awarding of a certificate of induction and a special pin. They are also entered into the permanent records of LEX.
Eligibility
A student being considered for induction must demonstrate "superior academic performance" which is evidenced by an overall grade point average of at least 3.25, plus a grade point average in their paralegal classes of at least 3.50. Students must also have completed 2/3 of their program requirements at the time of induction.
If you are currently a paralegal student and would like more information, please contact Paralegal Studies Program Director Gail Dorn at gcouse@delmar.edu.
