Applying to the Nursing Program
Notice
The Department of Nurse Education accepts applications through NursingCAS for the following programs at the following application deadline dates:
- January 31 – LVN and RN program to start in the Fall semester (August).
- January 31 - LVN/Paramedic to RN Bridge program to start in the Summer 1 semester (June).
- August 31 – LVN and RN program to start in the Spring semester (January).
*The LVN/Paramedic to RN Bridge program accepts applications once a year!

All prospective Del Mar College nursing students must complete and submit applications for admission to the nursing program through NursingCAS. NursingCAS is an internet-based, third-party application service and is not affiliated with Del Mar College.
IMPORTANT: NursingCAS is located in Watertown, Massachusetts which is on Eastern Time (ET). Per the NursingCAS website, applications can be submitted up until 11:59 PM ET on the deadline date. Therefore, all applications to the Del Mar College Department of Nurse Education must be submitted by 10:59 PM Central Time (CT) on each published deadline date.

The student must provide their NursingCAS ID Number and name in all communication. Allow up to 3 business days for NursingCAS to respond to your inquiry. NursingCAS will only discuss an application with the applicant. NursingCAS staff will not discuss an application with a parent, spouse, relative, friend, or employer.
