Our Mission

Our Mission

Del Mar Financial Aid Services is committed to provide financial assistance to students in a quality manner by eliminating and reducing financial barriers, in providing accessible quality education, and maintaining proper stewardship and fiduciary responsibility.

Our commitment is to provide financial resources to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue their educational goals. We seek to make available services which are accessible, sensitive to individual student needs, and effective in enabling students to bridge the gap between family resources and educational expenses. We are student focused and our office environment is designed to provide efficient and effective services. In addition, in responding to the diverse and changing needs of the college community, a spirit of cooperation and an approach which is flexible, equitable innovative, and broad are maintained. To the extent that funding is available and eligibility is demonstrated, the Financial Aid Services Office strives to ensure that all eligible students who are making satisfactory academic progress are afforded the opportunity for a post-secondary education.
