Adult Basic Education

All courses are basic education and literacy designed for: 

• Preparation for high school equivalency tests (GED) 
• Preparation for college placement tests (TSI, etc.) 
• Extra support in remedial college level courses (REM) 

Basic Education courses include:

• Basic Math – TECM 1013
• Technical Math – TECM 1003
• Algebra – TECM 1041
• Reading Comprehension – COMG 1006
• Writing I and Composition – ETWR 1005
• Writing II and Composition – ETWR 1043

Take all courses at once or one at time. Study at your own pace and timeline. Classes are offered every month and at a very affordable rate. If you do not already have a recent TSI or similar placement test, an assessment test can be provided to you upon enrollment to help you decide a course schedule tailored for your specific learning needs.
