Student Guidelines

  1. Students with a mathematics question from any course on campus are welcome at the center.
  2. Students must sign in and out with their Del Mar Student ID.
  3. Tutors rotate from person to person as needed.
  4. Raise your hand for assistance.
  5. If available, bring class notes.
  6. Students may print up to 10 pages per day. Printers are for math related purposes.
  7. Computers are for academic related purposes.
  8. Please keep your area clean. Do not put food or drinks near the computers.
  9. Materials such as books and calculators must remain in the facility.
  10. We offer supplemental instruction. The Math Learning Center is a place to:
    • do assignments under the guidance of tutors.
    • use available resources.
    • meet with study groups.
    • attend math workshops.
