Laptop AND Calculator Loaner Program Now Open

Del Mar College is now accepting applications for student loaner laptops and calculators! Please visit the Technology Resource Center in the Venters Business Building, Room 306, to begin the laptop and calculator checkout process.

Checkout Process

• When you arrive at the TRC, you will be required to complete an online form to request a loaner laptop or calculator.
• After you complete the online form, a TRC staff member will make an appointment with you to come and pick-up your device.
• You will need to present two types of identification such as your DMC ID or State ID (no copies will be made).
• Your printed schedule will be required before you are able to obtain your loaner laptop or loaner calculator.
• The device you borrow will need to be returned and/or re-checked out once you have had the device for four weeks.
• Students who are in current violation of other loaner programs and/or have a technology hold on their student account, are not eligible to check out a loaner device.

returning Laptops and calculators

If the loaner devices are not returned and/or re-checked out, a TRC hold may be placed on your student account and you may be subject to late fees. Please call, email, or visit the TRC for more information. Our contact phone number is 361-698-2234.

TRC Lab Open

The TRC Lab is now open to all students and features 54 desktop computers all equipped the software that you need to complete your class or research assignments. The TRC lab also has printers available for use (30 page limit), along with a scanner to copy and save documents.
