Del Mar College's Continuing Education programs offer select, short-term training for students in Aransas, Nueces, Kleberg, San Patricio and Kenedy counties that aligns with Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend’s Targeted Occupations List for 2019-2021.
- Healthcare: Certified Nurse Aide, Electrocardiography, and Medical Billing and Coding
- Trade Industry: Carpentry (Basic), Electrical Wiring, HVAC, Millwright, Plumbing (Basic) and Welding
Benefits
- Classes range from four to 16 weeks and available on flexible scheduling offers including days, afternoons and evenings.
- Earn a Del Mar College WSA (Workforce Skills Award) and/or opportunity to take state license for C.N.A., EKG or Medical Billing and Coding upon completion.
- Students will immediately become employment ready upon completion of the class.
- Limited supportive services are available to help with transportation, books or supplies based on need and emergency.
- Many classes are available face to face, remote or E-learning and hybrid formats.
