Advancement opportunities are unlimited in retail store management, industrial management or sales
Internships and work-study opportunities provide students with the abilities to perform successfully in their chosen academic or occupational field. The business management faculty provides student support, including a continuing program of counseling and guidance, to assist students in achieving their individual educational goals.
Management: General Specialization
The Management: General Specialization, AAS is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to enter the job market or advance in management positions. Management programs incorporate education and training to prepare individuals for career paths with businesses, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and academic institutions. Prepare for a management career in human resources, operations, retail, health services, or sales. Career paths are diverse in businesses, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and academic institutions.
Note: Students may only earn one of the AAS degree specializations – either the Management: General Specialization, AAS OR the Production and Logistics Management, AAS because they fall under the same primary degree plan. If students want to take classes from the second specialization, they would be allowed to earn the Certificates or Occupational Skills Awards of the other specialization without earning the full second AAS.
