Valdar's Market

Mission

Valdar's Market, in partnership with the Coastal Bend Food Bank, strives to alleviate food insecurities by providing food options to students who have limited resources and are experiencing difficulty meeting their basic needs.

Eliminate food insecurity.

Eligibility

Del Mar College students can be self-referred or referred by friends, classmates, other students, faculty, staff, administration, or community members by submitting the Referral Form below. Participants will also complete The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) form and, upon meeting eligibility guidelines, receive support from Valdar's Market.

Participants are able to access to the Market twice a month and may receive up to 35 lbs. of food per visit.

Heritage Campus | Harvin Center, Rm. 112

Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m., 12 pm.-4:30 p.m.

Friday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Oso Creek Campus | Main Building, Rm. 213

Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Friday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Windward Campus | Coleman Center, Rm. 133A

Monday & Tuesday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Wednesday & Thursday, 2 p.m.-6 p.m. 

Times & dates are subject to change. Availability is updated daily through our scheduling system, which will be provided to you upon completion of the referral form (above). All sites now have frozen food options.
