Client Successes

Chill South Texas, LLC is a family-owned HVAC company built on dependable service, honest communication, and genuine care for its customers. The company began in 2020 as Valencia Heating and Air and entered a new chapter when it became Chill South Texas in 2023. Joe’s more than 20 years of industry experience, combined with Sandra’s role in guiding the company’s operations and direction, has helped the business earn the trust of customers throughout Corpus Christi and the surrounding communities. Their commitment goes beyond keeping homes and businesses comfortable. They want every customer to feel respected, informed, and confident in the service they receive.

As Chill South Texas grew, Joe and Sandra began thinking more intentionally about the company’s future. They connected with the Del Mar College SBDC in July 2025 and began working with Business Advisor Amy Rodriguez. Through Amy’s guidance, they strengthened their business planning and financial knowledge, explored new markets, and prepared for future growth. Amy also connected them with the Del Mar College APEX Accelerator and Contractor Resource Center, helping them prepare for government and commercial contracting opportunities.

In 2026, Chill South Texas was named Commercial Contractor of the Year at Del Mar College's Entrepreneur Night. The recognition celebrated the company’s growth, but it also reflected the values behind it. Joe and Sandra remain committed to serving their customers, supporting their community, and creating something their family can be proud to continue. With every step forward, they are building more than a successful HVAC company. They are building a legacy rooted in trust, service, and care for South Texas.
