In the industry, it is an accepted trade practice for the craftsman to furnish their own tools; therefore, each student in the INDUSTRIAL MACHINING APPLIED TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM must furnish their own tools. Good quality tools are recommended not required.

On the first day in class, the instructor will advise you as to the tools required for this program and a reliable source of supply. Each student is required to have their books on the first day in class and the tools on the fourth day in class. As the shop practice is based on live work, it is  mandatory that the students bring their tools to class every day.
