Welding Supplies

In industry it is an accepted trade practice for the craftsman to furnish their own tools; therefore, each student in WELDING must furnish their own tools. Good quality tools are recommended.

TOOLS FOR WELDING

• Crescent wrench-10’’ or Larger
• Vise grips 9’’ (2)
• Friction lighter (striker)
• Welding leather gloves
• Chipping hammer, steel handle
• Gas cutting tip cleaner
• Oxy-fuel cutting lens and face-shield combo
• Welding jacket leather
• Welding hood, with auto darkening filter lens and cover lens
• Half round file, 14’’
• Wire brush, wood handle
• 4 1/2’’ grinder
• Soapstone
• Measuring tape 12’or less
• Tool box or 5 gallon plastic bucket
• Safety glasses (OSHA Approved)
• Ear plugs
• Welding caps
• Steel-Toe boots (leather, no laces)
